The Figure 9 Rope Tightener / Tensioning Tool eliminates the frustration of tying, adjusting and untying knots. Rope tension is easily adjustable - high rope tension is easy to achieve and maintain! Lock off the end of the rope with one quick move - no slipping - unlocks just as easy. Solves the problem of securing awkward loads (Christmas tree, mattress) onto car roofs. Multiple FIGURE 9's can be used to align and hold objects in position - tarps, banners, new trees, construction, etc.

 

They are excellent to use under wet conditions.  If you've ever used a knot to tie something down, you know how hard it can be to get the knot out when the rope gets wet.  With the Figure 9, the rope stays taught but can easily be undone when your ready, even if the rope does get wet.  Various sizes and types of rope or cord can be used with the Figure 9.
