NRA FIRST Steps Pistol Course
This is a NRA approved pistol safety and marksmanship orientation course. An NRA course completion certificate will be issued at the end of the course. After the course is completed, the Florida carry license application will be provided and discussed, and Florida statutes will be discussed. Other schools run this course for only the NRA minimum of three hours. Our course length is 4 - 5 hours and begins at 9AM. Preregistration is required. Course size is always very small, usually 4 - 6 students. NRA course materials and FL license application materials will be provided. Classroom is air conditioned. Live fire range is located on site. Unlike some other FL schools, you will be thoroughly trained in safety and marksmanship fundatmentals, will safely handle and load & unload your own firearm (at othe schools, the instructors do this for you) and you will fire at least 1/2 box of ammunition during the 45 minute live fire range training. Other schools only let you fire one or two rounds and you only spend a couple of minutes on the range. We ensure that you feel comfortable and qualified to carry safely and effectively on the street. All NRA course materials are included.

NRA Pistol and Home Firearm Safety Instructor Course
This 22+ hour course will result in recommendation for NRA Instructor credentials in the Pistol and Home Firearm Safety disciplines. BIT will be offered for this course. A Pre-Course Questionaire and a Prequalification Exam must be submitted and passed prior to attending this course. All NRA course materials are included. Pre-Registration and deposit are required to hold a seat in this class. A minimum of 6 students must register for it to convene.

NRA Personal Protection In the Home Instructor Course
This 16+ hour course will result in recommendation for NRA Instructor credentials in the Personal Protection In the Home (PPItH) discipline. Candidates MUST be NRA Certified Pistol Instructors prior to attending this course. BIT will not be presented but candidates will be required to pass the Trainer's Exam. A Pre-Course Questionaire and a Prequalification must be submitted and passed prior to attending this course. All NRA course materials are included. Pre-Registration and deposit are required to hold a seat in this class. A minimum of 6 students must register for this class to convene.

NRA Rifle Instructor Course
This 17+ hour course will result in recommendation for NRA Instructor credentials in the Rifle discipline. Instructor candidates MUST already posses certified instructor credentials in at least one other discipline. BIT will not be offered for this course but candidates will be required to pass the Trainer's Exam. A Pre-Course Questionaire and a Prequalification Exam must be submitted and passed prior to attending this course. All NRA course materials are included. Pre-Registration and deposit are required to hold a seat in this class. A minimum of 6 students must register for it to convene.

NRA Shotgun Instructor Course
This 15+ hour course will result in recommendation for NRA Instructor credentials in the Shotgun discipline. Instructor candidates MUST already posses certified instructor credentials in at least one other discipline. BIT will not be offered for this course but candidates will be required to pass the Trainer's Exam. A Pre-Course Questionaire and a Prequalification Exam must be submitted and passed prior to attending this course. All NRA course materials are included. Pre-Registration and deposit are required to hold a seat in this class. A minimum of 6 students must register for this class for it to convene.

NRA Personal Protection Outside the Home Basic and Instructor Courses
This 30+ hour set of courses will result in recommendation to NRA for the issuance of NRA Instructor credentials in the Personal Protection Outside the Home (PPOtH) discipline. Candidates MUST be NRA Certified Pistol Instructors AND NRA Certified PPItH Instructors prior to attending this course. BIT will not be presented but candidates will be required to pass the Trainer's Exam. All instructor candidates MUST attend the basic course prior to attending the instructor course. No exceptions. This is a NRA requirement. A Pre-Course Questionaire and a Prequalification must be submitted and passed prior to attending this course. All NRA course materials are included. Pre-Registration and deposit are required to hold a seat in this class. A minimum of 6 students must register for this class to convene.
